What we collect
- Hosts: name, email, password (hashed) and event details.
- Guests: the photos, videos and messages you add; optionally your name and email; a random device identifier in a cookie so you can manage your own uploads.
- Photo metadata such as the time a photo was taken, used to sort the album. Location data in files is kept in originals only and never shown in the gallery.
We email guests only if they ask: one "album is ready" email and at most one reminder. Hosts get account and event emails.
Face matching
Off by default. If hosts enable it, a guest who opts in provides a selfie, from which we compute a face template; the selfie is deleted immediately. Faces in that event's photos are converted to templates for matching. All face data is used only within that event, never sold or shared, and deleted when the guest asks, when the hosts turn the feature off, or 60 days after the event, whichever is first.
Sharing
We don't sell personal data or show ads. Data is stored on servers in the United States.
Your choices
Hosts can delete their event and account at any time, which deletes all media. Anyone can ask us to delete their data: email coley.michael@gmail.com.
